Subject: Disposal of old and condemned car – reg.
This office intends to dispose of one petrol vehicle No. DL 2C M 7349, Maruti Esteem, Model 2003
on “as is where is basis”.
2. Accordingly, sealed quotations are invited for the disposal of the said vehicle on the terms and
conditions mentioned at para 5 below. In case you are interested in purchasing the said vehicle, you may
submit your highest quotation in the enclosed proforma. The quotations in the sealed cover should be
addressed to the Additional Commissioner, Authority for Advance Rulings (Central Excise, Customs &
Service Tax) Room No.452, Hotel Samrat, Chanakyapuri , New Delhi.

The vehicle can be inspected at parking area of Yashwant Place, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi from
20 April 2015 to 6th April 2015 between 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM (Except Saturdays, Sundays & Govt.
Holidays) by taking prior appointment from Shri K.P.Subramony, Superintendent on Ph. No. 011-26876402
& 26876406.
The cover should be prominently super scribed with the words “QUOTATION FOR PURCHASE OF
CONDEMNED VEHICLE”

3. The bidders or their representative may be present, if they so desire, at the time of opening of
quotations.
4. The tender document can be downloaded from the website of www.cbec.gov.in
5. The sale will be governed by the following terms and conditions.

The bidder is required to pay Earnest Money of Rs. 1500/-(Rupees Fifteen Hundred only) by
means of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Authority for Advance Rulings (Central Excise,
Customs & Service Tax), payable at New Delhi.

Quotation received without demand draft towards earnest money will not be considered and
shall not be accepted.
The successful bidder will be required to deposit the rest of the bid amount by means of
Demand Draft drawn in favour of Authority for Advance Rulings (Central Excise, Customs &
Service Tax) payable at New Delhi within three working days of the acceptance of the bid.
The Earnest Money of the successful bidder stands forfeited in case of non deposit of the rest
of the quoted amount.
The delivery of the sold vehicle shall be made after the successful bidder submits
documentary evidence in support of residential status viz. Ration Card / Voter Identity Card
/ Passport /Aadhar Card in case of individual and Registration Certificate in case of firms etc.
The sold vehicle will be removed by the successful bidder within five working days of
depositing the money at their own expenses.
The vehicle will be disposed of on “as is where is basis” and no guarantee for its worthiness or
quality will be given by this Authority.
The successful bidder will also be responsible for getting the Registration Certificate of the
vehicle transferred in his name at his own cost expeditiously. This Authority will not be
responsible for any lapse on his part in this regard.
The bidder will not be allowed to withdraw their bids, failing which their Earnest Money will
be forfeited.
The Competent Authority in this Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any / all of the
quotations without assigning any reason therefor.
Earnest money deposited by the bidders whose quotations are not accepted shall be returned
after completion of bid process.

Advance Rulings , on any dispute arising out of the offer shall be binding on me / us.
