St. Paul reminds us that the mission of living out the Gospel is not for the timid. It is not for those who give the minimum. It is for those who are willing to take risks to give all they can, to be on mission 24x7. These are the disciples who will be successful and accomplish much for the sake of the Kingdom. If you give a little, you will receive a little in return; if you give all you have, you will receive even more than you have given. During this season of Lent we can ask ourselves the following questions: What does that mean in our lives? In what areas are we giving 100%? Where are we slackening off? Where do we need more commitment to Jesus? Let us pray Dear Jesus, some days I am really on target with my mission! I am focused in whatever I am doing. I help at home. I care for my family and my friends. Other times I’m in the dumps and do nothing. Inspire me to ever persevere! Amen E-mail cathedral@achonrydiocese 5th Sunday of Lent : 22nd Mar. 2015 Mass Intentions This Week We pray for Tom McGeever RIP Kendal, England & formerly of Derrinabrook, (nephew of Tom Finn, Cloontia) who died recently, and all whose anniversaries occur around this time.
