Purpose: “Healing God’s world, one life at a time”
We have a desire to help the perfecting (raising up, equipping, completing) of the saints for the work of the ministry
of Restoring The Foundations, which God is using in an amazing way to help the edifying (building, supporting,
completing) of the Body of Christ. (rtfi.org)
“Restoring Your Life” is a Christ-centered prayer ministry. Together, through prayer, we cooperate with the Holy
Spirit as He reveals the origins and characteristics of those areas in our life which have worked together to hinder
our relationships, and our growth in Christ.

Main Thesis:
We all (persons who have accepted
Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord) have
spiritual legal ties which hinder us
from living in complete godly
freedom. These are like cracks in the
foundation of our spiritual lives which
need to be rebuilt in order to become
the persons God created us to be.
There are four areas in which ties need to be examined and
broken and the foundations rebuilt on the basis of God’s Word:

1) Sins of the Fathers and Curses (SOFC)
This problem is rooted in the 2nd commandment
(Ex 20:3-6), where God visits “the iniquities of the
fathers upon the children unto the third and
fourth generations.” Jesus provided you a way of
freedom from this curse (Gal 3:13).

redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a
curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung
on a tree.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given
to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus,
so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

2) Ungodly Beliefs (UGBs)
Our beliefs are formed from life’s circumstances.
Hurtful circumstances lead to Ungodly Beliefs
contrary to God’s Word, nature, and character.
Jesus made the way for you to be free, by
renewing your mind (Rom 12:2).

world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind.

3) Soul Spirit Hurts (SSHs)
The events of life, and our sinful responses,
bring many hurts and wounds. Jesus came, that
He might heal your broken heart (Lk 4:18)

Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has
anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has
sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the
oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

4) Demonic Oppression (DO)
The first three problem areas provide
opportunity for demons to influence us. Jesus
came that He might destroy the works of the
devil in your life (1 Jn 3:8).
The reason the Son of God appeared was to
destroy the devil’s work.

1) Examine our lives to discover where we need to come into
agreement with God’s Word in those four key areas
“God will show us what foothold, or legal basis, that the
demonic has gained in our life. Perhaps we need to
forgive; or, repent for holding on to hurts or sins. Our
experience is that as God reveals, He heals.”
2) Strip the enemy of any legal ground to to operate in our
lives by:
a) submitting to God and confessing our sins; repentance
b) seeking and granting forgiveness
3) Assume our legitimate authority, declare the truth, bind
our enemy and loose our victory.

• Now use the following Ministry Steps to deal with
each important struggle area in your life. You many
use the forms in the Appendix for ideas and
suggestions of what issues may be affecting you via
your ancestors.
• Formulaic Prayers are used to move through this
process.
• There are similar, but customized prayers such as
this for each of the four “problem areas.”
Prayer/Ministry Steps to Break
Generational Sins and Curses:
1) I confess the sin of my ancestors, my parents, and my own sin,
of _______.
2) I choose to forgive and release them; for the sin, the curses
and the consequences in my life. (Be specific)
3) I ask you to forgive me, Lord, for this sin; for yielding to it, and
to the resulting curses. I receive Your forgiveness.
4) On the basis of Your forgiveness, Lord, I choose to forgive
myself for involvement in this sin. I renounce the sin and
curses of _______.
5) I break this power from my life, and from the lives of my
descendants, through the redemptive work of Christ on the
Cross.
6) I receive God’s freedom from this sin and from the resulting
curses. I receive _______.
Prayer/Ministry Steps to Break
Ungodly Beliefs:
Now use the following Ministry Steps
to replace each prominent ungodly belief
that you have discovered up to this point.
1) I confess my sin [(if appropriate) and my
ancestor’s sin] of believing the lie that _________.
2) I forgive those who contributed to my forming
this ungodly belief (Be specific.)
Prayer/Ministry Steps to Break
Ungodly Beliefs Continued:
4) I ask You, Lord, to forgive me for receiving this
ungodly belief, for living my life based on it, and for
any way I have judged others because of it. I receive
Your forgiveness.
5) On the basis of Your forgiveness, Lord, I choose to
forgive myself for believing this lie.
6) I renounce and break my agreement with this ungodly
belief. I break my agreement with the power of
darkness. I cancel all agreements with demons.
7) I choose to accept, believe, and receive the godly
belief that _______.
Ministry Steps FOR HEALING OF SOUL HURTS
(i.e. INNER HEALING):
Now use the following Ministry Steps
to receive healing from the Lord
for specific hurts you have experienced.
1) I ask You Holy Spirit to reveal the hurt You want to
heal. (Listen/watch as He tells/shows it to you.)
2) I choose to pour out my heart, to express my hurt
and frustration, my pain, fear, or anger. (Be
honest with God about how you feel.)
Ministry Steps FOR HEALING OF SOUL HURTS
(i.e. INNER HEALING) Continued:
3) (Take care of any hindrances, i.e. unforgiveness,
repentance, demonic interference, etc.)
4) (Listen to the Holy Spirit and/or interact with Jesus
about your hurt.)
5) I receive Your healing touch (Listen/watch as he
brings His healing. Allow the Holy Spirit and/or
Jesus ample time to minister to you.)
6) I break my agreement with any and all of the UGBs
(lies) found in this hurt.
Ministry Steps to
Freedom from Demonic Oppression:
Now use the following Ministry Steps for specific demonic
groupings. You may also use the forms in the Appendix for
ideas and suggestions of different demonic groupings that
may be active in you and your family line.
1)(Include the following steps if not yet accomplished)
• I confess my sin of ______ and forgive all who may
have influenced me to sin.
• I repent for giving place to demons of ______.
• I forgive myself for the pain and limitations I
have allowed the demons to inflict upon me.
Ministry Steps to Freedom from Demonic
Oppression Continued:
2) In the Name of Jesus, I renounce and break all
agreements with the demons (stronghold) of ______,
including all associated demons of ______, ______, etc.
3) I take authority over the demons (stronghold) of
________ and command you to leave me now based
on the finished work of Christ on the Cross.

Walking Out Our Healing
• FOLLOW-UP: In regards to “ungodly beliefs,” personally write
and verbally affirm on a daily basis the truth presented in God’s
Word which corrects & replaces the ungodly belief.
• Ungodly belief: "I am stupid.”
Godly belief: "As god heals me, I will have the mind of Christ.”
Scripture: 1 Cor 2:16; Rom 12:2
• Ungodly belief: "I will always be poor.”
Godly belief: "God will provide for my every need”

• Ungodly belief: "I am ugly.”
Godly belief: "I am fearfully and wonderfully made by God. I have
been created in His image. As He heals me I will choose to see
myself as He sees me.”
