The all U.G.Semester / Non semester Courses examinations will commence in the month of
April/May, 2015. The detailed time table will be intimated later & displayed on the University
Website i.e., www.kud.ac.in
The Principals of Constituent & Affiliated colleges of the University are requested adhere
to the time schedule specified below for collecting duly filled application forms and sending them
to the Examination Section.
1. The last date for the students to submit application form/OMR Sheet without penal fee in the
college: 19/03/2015. (Examination fees should be credited to the bank on very next day).
2. The last date for the colleges to submit the Examination application forms/OMR sheets without
penal fee to the Examination Section: 24/03/2015.
3. The last date for the students to submit application form/ OMR Sheet with ` 125/- penal fee in
the college: 24/03/2015 (Examination fees should be credited to the bank on very next day)
4. The last date for the colleges to submit the examination application forms/OMR Sheets with
penal fee to the Examination Section: 30/03/2015.

INSTRUCTIONS
The fees for improvement of performance at the various Undergraduate courses from
April/May-2014 examination onwards are as given below:

1. The Examination application forms shall be accepted subject to condition that a student has
minimum of 75% of attendance in all subjects actually held in each semester/ Non Semester
each Year.
2. In addition to examination fees, each candidate is required to pay ` 110/- towards issue of
Statement of marks along with the examination fees. Final Year/Semester candidates (Except
Law Students) are required to pay ` 145/- for issue of passing certificate along with statement
of marks. The Law students may obtain the passing certificate and special certificate after
completion of their respective course after remitting the necessary fees.

3. SC/ST/CAT-I students are exempted from paying examination fees. Those who are appearing
for examination as Repeaters are also exempted (Circular No.KU/SC/ST CELL/1994-95/Fees,
dated: 8/8/1994) & Government Order No. SKE/ 357/ BMS/ 2012/ Bangalore, dtd:
07/11/2012, Govt. Order No.»ªÀE/397/BMS/2013/Bangalore dtd:05/09/2013, Govt. Order
No .»AªÀPÀ/589/BMS/2013 Bangalore dtd:06/08/2014. From the payment of examination fees
provided their annual income is upto ` 2.5 lakh. However, such exempted fees must be
claimed from Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Karnataka & shall be remitted to the
University at the earliest.
4. Low income group students with income upto ` 1,00,000/- per year (Govt. Order
No .»ªÀE/397/BMS/2013/Bangalore dtd: 05/09/2013, Govt. Order No. »AªÀPÀ/ 589/BMS/2013
Bangalore dtd:06/08/2014.) are exempted from examination fee. However, candidates
appearing as repeaters are not exempted from the payment of examination fees. However,
such exempted fees must be claimed from Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Karnataka &
shall be remitted to the University at the earliest.

If the Candidate is dependent of Leprosy (Kushtaroga) patient, necessary certificate shall be
submitted as proof of the relation. Candidate dependent of Leprosy (Kushtaroga) patient
medical certificate shall be obtained from Primary/Taluka/District Medical Officer and are
exempted from paying the examination fees. However, such exempted fees must be claimed
from Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Karnataka & shall be remitted to the University at
the earliest.
6. All U.G (Except law) candidates are required to obtain Examination application forms/ OMR
Sheet from the Colleges on payment of ` 70/- each. Principals of all the colleges are
requested to send separate indents of U.G. examinations except law.
7. Law candidates can download the application form from KUD website www.kud.ac.in & has
to remmit requisite fees of ` 70/- along with the Examination fees. (There is no exemption for
the application fees).
8. Applications/OMR Sheets shall not be entertained after the last date with penal fees. Forms
will not be supplied directly to the candidates from the University Office.
9. Principals shall send the indents for required number of application forms along with
prescribed fees paid through Challan to the GAD branch of the examination section.
10. As per the Finance Officer Letter No. KU/Accounts/Cash/4093, dated 16.11.1994, the
examination fees and other payment be paid by way of Challans only through Branches of
(1) State Bank of India & (2) Syndicate Bank.
11. All the Principals are required to make payments through the Challan only. Under any
circumstances, the fees will not be accepted by way of Cheques/Demand Drafts/Postal Orders
etc.
12. Send the Original examination application forms/OMR sheets directly to the Office
Superintendent, Computer Center, Vishwachetan Building, Karnatak University, Dharwad - 3.
Copy of the forms shall be sent to concerned section along with necessary enclosures.

13. The candidate taken transfer from other universities shall use double sided OMR sheet if
appearing for KUD exams for the first time, all other candidates have to use single sided
OMR sheet.
14. Also inform to the students not to approach exam section for directly filing the exam
application from.
15. Fees once paid will not be refunded. Correction should be avoided.
16. All above courses Examination Time-Table will be displayed on University Website i.e.,
www.kud.ac.in.
17. All the Chairmen/ Principals/Coordinators are hereby requested to furnish the information
pertaining to their section (Name of the Head, Department, Contact nos., Address, email IDs,
