Using Honeywell’s HQA technology, your Performance Series HQA DVR can supercharge your analog security system to get high definition 720p/1080p video over your existing coax infrastructure. Follow the instructions in this guide to install and log in to your DVR. For instructions on configuring any cameras, refer to the appropriate user guide. If you require additional assistance, please call the number shown below. Note Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. Right-click in the Live multiple-channel display, and then choose Main Menu. If necessary, log into the system using the administrator account (default user name: admin; default password: 1234). 2. Connect the DVR to the monitor, and then connect the USB mouse. 2. Connect the power cable. 3. Press the Power button at the front or rear panel, and then boot up the DVR. 6 4. Indicates Video Loss Indicates Camera Lock Right-click the mouse in the Live multiple-channel display to open the Right-click menu. Left-click Main Menu to open the Login window. 3. Select a Video Standard (NTSC or PAL). 4. Click Date&Time to open the Date&Time tab, then enter the date (YYYY MM DD) and time (HH MM SS) in the correct fields. 5. Click OK to save these settings. 5 1. 5. Viewing Recorded Video 1. Right-click in the main viewing mode, and then choose Search. If necessary, log into the system using the administrator’s account (default user name: admin; default password: 1234). 2. Use the calendar on the right to search for the exact date for playback. 3. Use the drop-down menus to select the channels you want to play. 4. Click the playbar at the bottom to select the exact playback time. After booting up, the DVR is in multiple-channel display, by default. You might see the following icons: Indicates the Recording status Indicates Motion Detection Click Enter to open the OSD menu. Opening the Camera Menu Right-click in the Live multiple-channel display to open the right-click menu, then select Camera Menu. Sign in using a Default account, then click OK. When you do not select a login user, the DVR automatically chooses this hidden user to log you in. Very limited rights. WARNING For security, please change your password after your first login and before you connect the DVR to the internet or to other insecure networks.
