Objectives: Upon completion of this session the participant should be able to:
 Discuss the glutamatergic system and its role on mood disorders
 Describe the basic science evidence of ketamine as a translational science tool for mood disorders
 Review clinical research data that shows the effect of ketamine on mood disorders and suicide ideation
