AGRICULTURE FISHERIES AND FOOD AUTHORITY – AFFA
PUBLIC NOTICE
It has come to our notice that there is an impostor claiming to be the Interim Director
General of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Authority (AFFA) - Alfred Busolo Tabu. He is
misleading members of the public that he:


Is recruiting AFFA County officers upon payment of a fee payable to a Senior
Officer at the Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Fisheries.
Can influence decisions on the award of AFFA tenders of Goods and Services, at
a fee payable to the Interim Director General.
In this regard, we wish to notify the members of the public that:
1. The imposter is NOT and has NO RELATIONSHIP whatsoever with the Interim
Director General - Alfred Busolo Tabu.
2. The imposter has not in any way been asked to collect payments from prospective
employees on behalf of any senior Government officer in the Ministry of Agriculture
Livestock and Fisheries, neither does he represent the interests of AFFA or the
Ministry.
3. Any positions falling vacant at AFFA will be advertised and all eligible Kenyans are
free to apply. Successful candidates will be recruited free of charge.
4. All tendering processes at AFFA are subject to the due tender process and are not
influenced whatsoever by any individual upon payment of a fee. Be cautioned
that AFFA shall not take responsibility for any losses incurred by individuals who
pay bribes to this impostor in anticipation of award of any tender in their favour.
5. Any member of the public who is approached by such a person should report the
matter to the Police with immediate effect.
AFFA has since reported the matter to the Police and we urge that the Police expedite
the arrest of this impostor and charges preferred against him in a court of Law.
