Students should arrive at school at 7.30am, 10
minutes before the bell rings and be collected
from their classroom at 1.30pm. Please be
prompt at both the beginning and end of the
day.
School Uniform
Students must wear the correct uniform to
school. Please ensure that only Al Rabeeh
jackets are worn in school. Other jackets and
jumpers can be worn to and from school, but
must be removed once within the building.The
only jewellery to be worn can be small stud
earrings and a watch.
Healthy Lunches
We encourage healthy lunches in Grade 1, so

Weather
As it is approaching summer we would like to
remind you to take some precautions to help
your child stay safe in the sunshine. Please send
your child to school with a cap as they can wear

heads cool. There is water in the classrooms
but please ensure your child comes to school
with a water bottle so they can stay hydrated
during playtimes.

We will continue to develop phonics and medial
vowel sounds in cvc and cvcc words. We are
learning to combine vowel blends such asee, oo,
ai, ie, oa, ou, oi, or and ar. We will also be
learning about magic e/silent e.
In Grammar, we will be looking at adding es for
plurals, question marks, nouns and the prefix
un, e.g. unhappy. Also compound words e.g.
