WEEK 3 31ST MARCH RESULTS Players B replace Crompo’s to head division one. An 8-2 for last season’s division two champions over the current ones puts them one point ahead teams were warned at the presentation evening! Players A twice came from behind but were pegged back three times in their draw at Radway, the first three frames took less than ten minutes with 8-balls from Ollie Brookes, Dave Jackson and a clearance from Scott Burrows. Dishers won 7-3 at home for the second time as week one leaders Linley drop to sixth. Just two points separate the top four. Cricketers and Swan played out a draw at the bottom as both teams sought their first win. TABLES Last season’s division three runners-up had a massive 8-2 at Red Lion who just missed out on honours last time. Nuts N Bolts’ 7-3 at The Brit moved them second despite unbeaten Linley’s 6-4 against Kings. Nomads stay top of division three. They dug deep to maintain their 100% record, coming from 4-1 down at the Swan. Workies move second as they defeated Broughton 7-3 with Red Street winning the battle of The Crowns 6-4. Improving Barrel got off the mark in the basement encounter with Labour A in a draw - ditto division one - both teams yet to win. Labour new leaders of division four. An 8-2 against Alsager Arms puts them one ahead of Radway who were held at Clough via The Butchers Arms - check who you’re playing before setting off! There is now a seven point gap to third. Just five points separate the bottom six teams as Butchers Arms B moved up four places with a first win, 7-3 at home to Sandpiper. Queens also won, 6-4 at home to Butchers A, their first loss but the only team yet to win!
