Official Rules and Regulations.
The number 1 rule and why we are here is to Remember Our Fallen and honor the One’s
that have returned home.
With that being said, the rules and regulations are as follows..
● Fish must be caught by rod and reel only
● The big fish contest will be determined by weight.
● The five fish contest will be determined by weight.
● All fish are the responsibility of event participants.
● All fish will be returned to the fisherman.
● Live and healthy fish may be released after weigh in.
● Fishing may be done from boat or shore on Lake Conroe.
● Early weigh in maybe done any time during the event hours 06:00 to 15:00.
● All Texas Parks and Wildlife laws and regulations apply.
● Good sportsmanship is expected.
● Volunteer boat captains will have an organizational meeting to be
● announced at a later date.
● Pre-Entry forms must be received via the redlionusmcproject.com website no later than
May 1st 2015. Entries fee can be made on the website or sending the entry form by mail
to 502 W. Montgomery # 342, Willis TX 773378. Entry fee may also be made by check
or money order to the Red Lion Project.
● Disabled Veterans and kids under the age of 16 fish free.
● Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult is not required to
fish the event.
