Pray that as we explore Acts 1-8, the Lord may teach us new things and transform us into the church he wants us to be. Please pray for those of our congregation finding things hard at present: Nancy Favelle, Margaret Williams, Derek Porter, Margaret Haebich, Sharon O’Toole, Anke Hettema, Pat Fife, Barbara Burns. Thank the Lord for the holiday kids’ club and the unique privilege we had of teaching boys and girls about the Lord Jesus. Pray that we may have joy of seeing gospel fruit from our labours and that whole families will join us at church and grow to know and trust the Lord Jesus. Thank the Lord for Simon and Heather and their very significant ministry among us. Pray for all the preparations for our new congregation at Peregian as they continue their three week ‘practice run’. Thank the Lord for the first Sunday last week and for all that was learnt from the trial. Thank the Lord for Ian’s leadership and that of Chris, Nick and Ruth. Pray for the coordinators of children’s ministry, hospitality, music, logistics etc. Pray that everything will come together rd for a smooth start on 3 May.
