Sunday Services
Praise God the glorious risen Lord
Jesus and pray that we may grow
in our love and service of Him.
Pray that as we explore Acts 1-8,
the Lord may teach us new things
and transform us into the church
he wants us to be.
Please pray for those of our
congregation finding things hard
at present: Nancy Favelle,
Margaret Williams, Derek Porter,
Margaret Haebich, Sharon
O’Toole, Anke Hettema, Pat Fife,
Barbara Burns.
Thank the Lord for the holiday
kids’ club and the unique
privilege we had of teaching
boys and girls about the Lord
Jesus. Pray that we may have
joy of seeing gospel fruit from
our labours and that whole
families will join us at church
and grow to know and trust the
Lord Jesus. Thank the Lord for
Simon and Heather and their
very significant ministry among
us.
Pray for all the preparations
for our new congregation at
Peregian as they continue
their three week ‘practice
run’. Thank the Lord for the
first Sunday last week and for
all that was learnt from the
trial. Thank the Lord for Ian’s
leadership and that of Chris,
Nick and Ruth. Pray for the
coordinators of children’s
ministry, hospitality, music,
logistics etc. Pray that
everything will come together
rd
for a smooth start on 3 May.
