Spicy Tequila Mango Smothered Burritos Arrive at Qdoba®
New menu addition joins Qdoba’s classic Mango Salad and Mango Salsa as part of the
brand’s limited-time, summer lineup
DENVER (May 26, 2015) – This summer, ignite your taste buds with Qdoba’s new Spicy
Tequila Mango Smothered Burrito, which debuts today along with the return of two seasonal
favorites, Qdoba’s classic Mango Salad and Mango Salsa.
Amping up Qdoba’s summer menu lineup, the Spicy Tequila Mango Smothered Burrito
combines the sweet taste of mangos and fiery heat of habanero with a hint of zesty lime and
tequila flavor to unleash the ultimate mashup to guests.
The Spicy Tequila Mango Smother complements three Smothers on Qdoba’s menu—Bold Red
Chile, Smoky Chipotle Cream and Savory Queso—which debuted in December 2014. Each
Smothered Burrito is loaded with a guest’s choice of Smother sauce in and on the burrito to
create flavor so over-the-top that it’s bursting out the sides. Like any of Qdoba’s flavors, guests
can also enjoy the new Smother on any entrée, like a wrapped burrito, burrito bowl or nachos, to
give their meal a zesty kick.

Guests looking for a little less heat can enjoy the Mango Salad or layer Mango Salsa onto any
entree, as those two summer classics return for the 10th year at participating Qdoba restaurants.
Qdoba’s Mango Salad features the Mango Salsa, which is packed with a combination of
mangos, cucumbers and red bell peppers, and is served over a bed of romaine lettuce and
drizzled with a cilantro-lime vinaigrette dressing.
The Spicy Tequila Mango Smother and Mango Salsa are part of Qdoba’s all-inclusive menu
structure in which guests pay one price based on the entrée they select and are no longer
charged extra for all the flavors they choose to add, including Smothers, salsas, guacamole and
Queso.
