Marco Lambertini is Director General of WWF International, having first
worked with WWF as a youth volunteer in his native Italy. He leads a
global network with over 50 years of environmental conservation
successes, five million supporters, 14 million followers on social media
and activities in over 100 countries. He addressed the first UN
Environment Assembly, acts as global NGO representative on the China
Council and WWF's sole global delegate at the annual World Economic
Forum in Davos. Marco Lambertini sits on the Boards of the International
Civil Society Center and Water Resource Group Governing Council and
