Wide Bay Spring Carnival Flyer 2015

TWO DAY WIDE BAY SPRING CARNIVAL – to be played at Bargara Golf Club
TUESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER & FRIDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER 2015
Competition Program:





Men 36 hole Single Stableford - overall winner and runner up for each division
Ladies 36 holes Single Stableford – overall winner and runner up for each division
Daily event - 18 hole Single Stableford with Mens and Ladies winner/runner up in each division
The number of divisions and handicaps for each event will be determined on nomination numbers.
All players must report to the Starter at the Pro Shop at least 20 minutes prior to their hit-off time.
The cost is $20 p/p per day (including pin and approach shots each day). PAYMENT MUST BE
INCLUDED WITH NOMINATION FORMS - NO NOMINATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED or REGISTERED
WITHOUT PAYMENT.
Entries close on Wednesday 19th August 2015 and the field is limited to 220 players. If requested, late
nominations will be placed on a waiting list. The draw will be available on the Bargara Golf club website on

Competition Rules
This event is being played under the auspices of the Queensland Veteran Golf Union.
Each competitor must be a financial member of a Veterans’ Association or group and hold a current AGU or WGA handicap.
The B.V.G.A. committee reserves the right to alter or vary the conditions
Should there be a dispute or doubt on a rule, a second ball should be played for that hole and a ruling sought later.
Local rules of Bargara Golf Club are to be read in conjunction with Rules of Golf
Should scores be tied, the result will be decided on a count-back.
Golf Link cards are necessary to register for play and are to be presented to the Starter on check-in. If not held, then a
Handicap Card should be available for perusal.
 There is a limit of one(1) trophy per player over the two days (pin shots and approaches excepted)







There are a number of accommodation options available near the golf course. Bargara Blue, The Point, Koola Beach Apartments
and Shoreline are valued sponsors.
Lunch will be available for purchase near the pro-shop each day. The club bistro will also be open between 12pm to 2pm and
5.30pm to 8pm each day

To be eligible to win the overall trophy in each grade, you must play a minimum FOUR different courses, FIVE rounds required out of eight
