Our range of courses offers the opportunity for adults in the community to develop their skills and access training courses in a location close to them. Our Centre is fully accessible and there are disabled parking bays in the adjacent car park. We are delighted to introduce our new course brochure, detailing our wide range of quality day and evening courses and we think we have something for everyone. Our courses range from complete beginners to more advanced level and run throughout the year. We are always looking to offer new courses, so if there is a course you would like to do which is not listed here, please get in touch. All of our courses run throughout the year, so to find out when the next course is available, to reserve a place, or for more information, either call into our Centre, telephone or send us an email. We look forward to hearing from you and getting started! Computers Our computer suite is equipped with the latest technology and provides a comfortable, safe and accessible learning zone. Suitable for beginners and more experienced students. T Sign Language his fun course will show students how to communicate with and learn about British Sign Language. They will learn how to communicate with people on a variety of topics including:* The Alphabet and Numbers * Lip-reading * Food and Drink * Finger-spelling games * Leisure, sports and hobbies … and lots more M m m - 8p s 6p onday A Paper Crafts very popular course with students, allowing both beginner and intermediate level students the opportunity to experience tools and techniques to produce professional cards and other exciting projects. s 1pm rsday - 3pm Thu Holiday French for Beginners s 11am Friday -1pm A fun, friendly course for absolute beginners. Topics will include greetings, personal information, asking for directions, shopping, ordering food and drink in a café / restaurant. The course is taught in a small, friendly group with an emphasis on fun and interaction and will give you the confidence to use useful everyday phrases on holiday. The course runs for 9 weeks.
