PE Teacher with a strong focus on swimming for August 2015 The role will involve the coaching of swimmers ranging from aged 4 upwards as part of a highly motivated team of PE staff. As well as having a teaching commitment, the successful applicant will drive the further development of the very successful extra-curricular swimming programme. Applicants will be PGCE or equivalent qualified, as well as being a certified lifeguard and holding at least an ASA Level 2 Swimming Coach Certificate. Ideally, they will have extensive experience of coaching successful swim teams. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Sport, but have considerable autonomy in the running of the curricular and extra-curricular swim programmes. They will need to be prepared to commit to the after-school programme, and occasional weekends.
