DIRECTIONS: From Route 195 take exit 3, go east onto Route 6, take 4-H Livestock Summer Kick Off 2015 left at Swansea Mall Drive. Drive to the end and take right onto Locust Street. The Ice Cream Barn is on the left. Bristol County 4-H Livestock Summer Kick Off - June 20, 2015 9AM-5PM Dear 4-H Club Leaders and Parents, We would like to welcome all Bristol County 4-H members and friends to join us at the 4-H Livestock Summer Kick-off. This event is open to 4-H members throughout the state and the public. There will be many fun activities and demonstrations to take part in. For those members planning to participate in jeopardy and written tests, Please study online at www.BristolCountyLivestock.com Placements in these events will go toward the end of year 4-H banquet. In the afternoon the 4-H kids will educate the public about farm living by participating in a livestock showmanship show or speaking to the public about their animals. Each child is allowed to show one animal. White shirts and white or tan pants are required in the show ring. Afternoon Show for the Public Showmanship Classes for all Livestock Opportunities to educate the public We will be serving a pizza lunch. You are welcome to buy ice cream at the Ice Cream Barn. This event will take place rain or shine as we have a tent to gather inside in case of inclement weather. Limited to photographs taken the past year. You may enter 1 photograph per class, 1 of which may be a black and white. All photographs must be matted and be a 5x7 only and sent in a clear plastic sleeve for protection. Please put the following on a piece of paper and insert with photograph in sleeve. - Title of photograph Name of entrant Cloverbud, Junior, Senior Address Phone number Entry class, lot number and description All entries are to be mailed to Christine Botelho 72 Morin Ave. Swansea Ma. 02777 by June 1, 2015. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class [cloverbud, junior, senior]. Each will be judged separately.
