Burbank Transportation Management Organization Kyle Maetani Executive Director Mission The Burbank Transportation Management Organization (BTMO) is a private-sector nonprofit organization formed to bring together employers, developers, building owners and others to collectively establish policies, programs and services which address local transportation and air quality issues and concerns. The BTMO was formed to help reduce congestion during peakhours and solve transportation problems by providing services directly to its members and their employees to reduce dependency on single-occupancy automobile travel and encouraging the use of public transit, carpooling, walking and biking to work. Ordinance Affects employer in the Burbank Media District or Downtown Burbank area having 25 or more employees Burbank Media District Specific Plan (Municipal Code Sec. 10I-2132) and Burbank Center Plan (Municipal Code Sec. 10-I2534) Reduce the number of employee vehicular trips that business generates during the weekday afternoon commute period. Must join and participate in the BTMO o Dues are $18 per employee (annually) Report annually efforts made to reduce employee trips during the 4:00-6:00 PM period during a designated survey week Goals To assist companies in meeting its transportation demand management obligations under requirements of the City of Burbank’s Media District and City Center Plans, the BTMO has annual membership dues that provide the following services: Mitigate existing traffic congestion Mitigate increased traffic from new development Improve air quality Provide centralized services to improve the efforts of individual employer programs Support new investment in transportation infrastructure and services Services Clean Air Month o o Bike to Work Day Pit Stops Bike & Walk to School Day Provide Annual Survey Services to Comply with City of Burbank’s Trip Reduction Ordinance Highway Construction Updates and Traffic Advisory Alerts for I-5 Mitigation Services Vanpool Incentive Employer Events o o o Annual Survey Workshop On-Site Transit Events On-Site Rideshare Fairs/Earth Day SCAQMD Rule 2202 Plan Review Assistance Guaranteed Ride Home Program Contact Burbank Transportation Management Organization 121 S.
