It has a payload of 500 kg and there are three standard body versions available: flat bed drop side, tipper or box van. Mitsubishi i-MiEV The electric Mitsubishi i-MiEV city car is ideal for driving in London. As well as being zero-emission, it’s quiet, refined, can seat four people, reach 81 mph, and has a range of 93 miles. Renault Kangoo Van ZE The Renault Kangoo ZE electric van makes much more sense than a petrol or diesel vehicle for short urban delivery cycles as it is zero-emission, easy to drive, and has very low running costs. It is also suitable for longer journeys as it has a range of up to 106 miles with payload of 650kg. Criteria for trialling companies: We only have a limited number of trials on offer. To be eligible for a free trial, companies must: • Have premises within the London Borough of Camden • Have the ability to recharge the vehicle • Evidence an ongoing spend on one or more vehicles, they should also provide information detailing that they are considering purchase of a new vehicle or vehicles within the next 12 months (such as by providing planned fleet upgrade or expansion plans, with timeframes) • Agree to add the trial vehicle to their insurance policy • Agree to enter into an agreement directly with the manufacturer which outlines the terms of the trial • Agree to take part in promotion about their experiences of the trial, e.g. interviews and photography for case studies and PR. Award of the free trial is entirely at the discretion of LBC and the manufacturer.
