Target market of the Career Fair:
The Career Fair’s objective is to entice young people to consider a career in the agricultural/
horticultural/food industry, and the focus is on first-year BSc Biological Science students, many of
whom have not yet decided on an area of specialization from their second year onwards, agricultural
students currently registered at both the undergraduate and post-graduate level and students from
other disciplines such as B.Com and Engineering. Estimate number of students: 1200.
School learners: more than 1000 top performers in Gr 11 from 200 schools across Gauteng,
Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Free State will be visiting the Career Fair through the JuniorTukkie
programme for prospective students. The JuniorTukkie school programme is well organized – the
Grade 11 learners will be divided into two groups of 500 each, and the will go through the Career Fair
on Thursday 21 May and Friday 22 May from 08:00 – 09:30 respectively, before going to the Aula for
a formal programme.

Please note that stands F1 – F13 are allocated to University of Pretoria, therefore stands 1-30
are available for bookings. See attached floor plan.
An invoice will be issued upon receipt of the application form.
An information guide on the Career Fair logistics, set-up and break-up times, furniture
and equipment orders, will be sent to exhibitors upon receiving the booking form.

Terms & Conditions:
 All items are supplied on a hire basis and remain the property of the sub-contractor;
 Rates exclude VAT and an invoice will be issued reflecting the total amount and VAT;
 Booking of preferred stand numbers cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability;
 The organizers reserve the right to change to floor plan, depending on the state of affairs;
 PMA members qualify for a discount. The discounted amount will be deducted before adding
VAT;
 No exhibitor will be allowed to exhibit unless full payment has been received.
 Cancellations: Cancellations of bookings received before 11 May 2015 will be refunded less
25% handling fee. Cancellations of bookings received after 11 May 2015 will not be refunded.
