Graphic Designer
In this position you will exercise the full range of your visual design skills, working on projects for both print and digital
media. On the technical side you will consult with product teams to help them design user interfaces that are visually
pleasing and follow HCI best practices. On the business side you will work with the Marketing team on a wide variety of
projects and with the website team on updates to openmarket.com and our customer portal. As the sole graphic designer
at OpenMarket, you will contribute immediately and directly to our success!
Qualifications
Required
 Minimum 2 years of experience working as a graphic/visual designer on projects for both print and digital media.
You must provide an online portfolio that shows your diverse skills, attention to detail, knowledge of responsive
design and usability in digital media, and aptitude in print-based design. Academic work will be considered.
 Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite applications, PowerPoint and Visio.
 Able to clearly explain your design recommendations and alternative approaches.
 Comfortable working with technical teams in an Agile development environment, where rapid iteration is
sometimes required.
 Able to manage multiple projects in parallel and handle shifting priorities.
 Able to work remotely with teams in our London office.
Desired
 Familiar with Axure, WordPress, HTML5, CSS, and Javascript.
 Familiar with HCI fundamentals: information architecture and UCD.
 Experienced designing for mobile devices as well as web.
Education/Training Required
Academic degree in Fine Arts, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related discipline. Equivalent experience will be
considered.
