Senior Manager, Carrier and Partner Relations - China You will be responsible for all carrier and partner relations in China in order to drive and evolve OpenMarket’s Global SMS offering in the most important growing market of OpenMarket. This includes the management of the existing relations with the main Chinese operators and partners as well as the sourcing of new partners. Additionally, you will support other Carrier Relations efforts in Asia. Competencies/Essential Skills/Qualifications: Required Knowledge of the Chinese telecom industry, ideally with an understanding of the SMS business Fluent in English and Mandarin Experience working with US or European companies, ideally with proven track record of collaboration with remote teams in the US or Europe Capability of representing OpenMarket with excellent negotiation skills Cultural sensitivity (i.e. understanding of cultural challenges with international business partners) Outstanding relationship capabilities Desired Knowledge of additional languages an advantage Contacts with relevant industry players About You: You are a smart, results-oriented team player You are proactive rather than reactive You take it personally when an issue is unresolved Additional Information: This role can be located in mainland China or Hong Kong Travel to/within China and UK/US required Employment in this position may be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal and/or credit background investigation.
