Communion….
Communion will be available every Sunday (if not offered during the
regular service) in the Prayer Chapel. You are welcome to take part in
this communion after the regular worship service.
Due to bad weather during the recent Relay for Life,
the Silent Auction portion was cancelled. See the reschedule information below:
TEAM HOPE Relay For Life Silent Auction, live pie auction and other events:
Date: Saturday, July 18
Time: 4:00-7:00 PM
Place: St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 1796 State Hwy NN, Ozark MO
(in their beautiful new building)
We will have the Silent Auction along with selling a choice of brats or hot dogs,
chips and a soda for $3.00.
We will have a pie auction with a live auctioneer! We might also auction a few
of the larger items that have been donated.
Come out and join us – we may be adding more activities before then as we
are currently working on some other things!
Cassidy provides a worship service at the
Ozark Riverview Manor Assisted Living
home the 2nd Sunday of each month at 2:30
pm. Everyone is welcome to come and
worship with those that are unable to attend church regularly. The next
service is Sunday, July 12. See Suzanne Epperly for more information.
TODAY – Vacation Bible School
kicks off today at 5:00 pm with our
registration party. Everyone is
invited. The church will provide
hot dogs, buns, condiments, and drinks. All others are asked to bring
chips, sides and desserts. Come and welcome the kids to Bible School. We
will have the bounce house up for the kids to play. VBS t-shirts will be
available, adults are $10 and kids are $6. VBS will be held Monday –
Thursday from 6:00-8:00 each evening. On Sunday, July 12 the kids will
perform and share what they have learned during the 2nd worship service.
IT’S TIME – We are scheduling times for family directory
pictures. Pictures will be taken Sunday, July 12 and Sunday, July 19
between services and following the 2nd service. Pictures will also be
taken on Tuesday, July 14 beginning at 6:00 pm. A sign up sheet is
available in the entryway for times at 10 minute intervals. There is
no charge to have pictures taken for the directory but there will be an
opportunity to buy pictures if you want. Proceeds will help support AWANA.
July C-SALT meeting will be held at the church at NOON
on Thursday, July 16th.
Wear your red – white – blue for our Patriotic Day.
You will be served a FREE lunch (July 4th style).
Our charity donation will go to Elks Lodge #2777 for their fund to help
purchase clothing for children for school.
We have a special day planned to honor our Veterans, our Flag and our Lord
… come and be a part of this great time!!
Don’t forget United Methodist Men’s
breakfast and meeting this Saturday, July 11
at 8:00 am. All men are invited for a full
breakfast, fellowship and short meeting

worship today. Child Care: A nursery, located behind Fellowship Hall in the rear of the
building, is available for children 4 years old and younger. Children’s Church, in the
children’s hall,is available for children ages 5 to 10 during worship, after Children’s Time.
