summer experience!
Summer Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to give our children the opportunity
to explore and experience many different activities while still
retaining what they learned during the school year. Each week
brings a new theme and a new adventure.
Activities include Science,
Literature, Sports, Cooking, Art,
Math, Music, and Technology.
Week 1: Summer

Welcome summer with fun

Week 2: Under the Sea

Be a marine biologist and
learn all about our ocean
Week 3: At the Zoo

We will be studying and
doing activities centered
about animals and its
habitat.
Week 4: Garden Bugs

Discover wiggly and
squirmy summer bugs in
our backyard.
Week 5: Celebrate 4 th of July

This is a week to celebrate the
anniversary of our country’s
independence
Week 10: Sports/ Backyard Olympics

Week 6: Space

Learn our wonderful planets and
explore the space.
Week 7: Camping- Wild, Wild West

Travel back in time to days of
Early America.
Week 8: Dinosaur

Learn about amazing pre-historical
animals
Week 9: Imagination/Fairy tale

This week is all about creativity.
Children enjoy fun filled sports
activities this week. Learn about
good sportsmanship and team
work.
Final Week: Hawaiian Luau

What a great way to finish
summer! Take a trip to a tropical
island right here at home in this
Hawaiian themed final week.
Every week will also include a
water day at school. Don’t forget
those swimsuits.
