Campbell Title: 4-H Resource Educator Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Broome County Presents: 4-H Junior Master Gardeners April 23, 2015 6:30 p.m. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County Broome County 4-H is excited to announce the Junior Master Gardner Program! CCE-BC Master Gardner Craig Mannix will engage children in a novel, “hands-on” group and individual learning experiences that promote a love of gardening, develop an appreciation for the environment, and cultivate the mind. Topics will included: Plant Growth/Development, Soil & Water, Ecology & Environment, Insects & Disease, and Plant Varieties (fruits, vegetables, & herbs). Join us April 23rd from 6:30-7:30pm as we kick-off this new program. Enjoy a tour of the Cutler Botanic Garden, discover the Junior Master Gardner plot, explore Compost Creatures- nature’s recyclers, and find out if the JMG Program is for you! Youth must be at least 8 years old to participate and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
