2015 Theme: “Homecoming”
However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends,
and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had
compassion on you.” Mark 5:19

Mother’s love
A Mother’s love is something that no one can explain
It is made of deep devotion of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish and enduring, come what may,
For nothing can destroy it or take that love away.
It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking...
It believes beyond believing when the world condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems,
It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation...
A many splendored miracle, man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence of God’s tender guiding hand.

FLOWERS
The beautiful flowers were placed in the
Auditorium to honor all of the “mothers” on
this Mother’s Day!
The Men’s Ministry
donated them to thank you for the blessings we all have
received through you!
REJOICE
We are so happy that Storm Wilson was baptized
after our Worship Assemblies last Sunday. She
had been thinking about this for a while. Ross
Jordan baptized her into Christ with family and
friends surrounding her. We are so thankful for young, tender
hearts who want to surrender their lives to Christ and live for
Him. Storm is Barbara Wilson’s granddaughter and you will
want to share in this joy with her.
RESPONSE
Last Lord’s Day, Kasja McClinic, responded to the
invitation. She wanted the Central church family to
know that she had finished her first year at Dalton
State and will be living at home this Summer. She asked for
prayers for forgiveness and for her as she continues her
journey. We’ll be looking forward to her coming back for Fall
Semester!

BABY SHOWER
The Baby Shower to welcome the birth of James
Liam Harrison will be Sunday, May 31, at 3
p.m. in the Fellowship Room. Since Amy had to be on
bedrest & James’ birth was early, the shower had to be
scheduled later. Please keep “baby gifts” until this shower!
Continue to pray for them, as he is still in the hospital.
THANK YOU
Thank you for the thoughts and prayers for the
Swilling family. Please continue to keep Craig,
Kathy, Justin and Evan in your prayers for his (Craig’s)

Love, Pat & Ronald Headrick
