The 2015 Got To Be NC Competition Dining Series Battles Have Begun YOU BE THE JUDGE! Now through May 19 at Bonterra Dining and Wine Room Got To Be NC Competition Dining guests savor a full The Got To Be NC Competition Dining Series is an exciting, interactive dining experience connecting the diners with the chefs and farmers. This year marks the service "blind" six course dinner (three dishes from third Competition in Charlotte, where 24 of our most competitive chefs compete in two single-elimination brackets until two coveted red chef coats are won in each team) that centers on a featured NC ingredient. the grand finales on May 18 and May 19. Diners will rate each dish on a free app downloaded to their smart device to decide which chef goes home and who Diners vote on criteria such as, presentation, aroma, moves on to the next battle. This year, Raleigh, Charlotte and Winston-Salem will host the series. Chef Jon Fortes, 2013 and 2014 City Champion, won the 2014 flavor, creativity and more.
