On June 22, 2015 the City of
Crosby adopted Ordinance Number
2015-03, an ordinance which updated
the city's subsurface sewage treatment regulations and administrative
procedure in accordance with 2014
MPCA Rules. The amendment adopts
regulations “as strict” as Crow Wing
County's
“Subsurface
Sewage
Treatment
Systems-Technical
Standards and Criteria” as required by
state law.
This notice is a summary of the
ordinance amendments that were
adopted by the City. A full copy the
amendment and the City Code are
available at City Hall. This amendment
goes into effect upon publication.

The council gave recognition to Art Patterson and the
Watercraft Inspection program for his efforts and contributions in making the program one of the most successful in Crow Wing County.
The council approved a
motion to allow private
improvement on a public right
of way on Loon Trail.
Planning and Zoning
Clerk, Barbara Hubbard will
resign her position as of Dec.
15.
The cemetery had six lots
sold, one staking fee and four
burials in May.
Cracksealing has begun on
city roads. Calcium chloride
will be sprayed soon, weather
permitting. Research will be
done as to which formula is
safest and works best, calcium
chloride or magnesium chloride.
A draft of the Water
Quality study will available at
the end of the week, DNR will
review for completeness. June
17 Special Meeting was
scheduled to review Draft of
Water Quality study report
and to review the Downtown
Revitalization Plan proposal.
Research for building a
new city maintenance garage
continues. The city has
$150,000 readily available for
the construction.
A one day 3.2 On-Sale
Liquor License was approved
for July 18 for the Fire Relief
Association.
The 2014 audit was
approved. The Unity Bank
savings account funds will be
transferred to Pine River State
Bank and the account will be
closed.
The city is a full voting
member of the National Joint
Powers Alliance.

NOTICE OF INTENT REGARDING THE
ORDERLY ANNEXATION IN DESIGNATED UNINCORPORATED AREA
The Baxter City Council has scheduled a public meeting, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 414.0325, for 6:00 p.m. on July 13,
2015, in the Council Chambers, 13190 Memorywood Drive, Baxter, MN.
The Crow Wing County Board of Commissioners, acting as the Town Board for Unorganized Territory, has scheduled a public
meeting, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 414.0325, for 9:30 a.m. on July 14, 2015, in the County Board Room, 326 Laurel
Street, Brainerd, Minnesota.
The purpose of the public meeting is to consider an orderly annexation agreement whereby the parcels immediately adjacent
to Inglewood Drive as indicated on the attached map be annexed from Unorganized Territory to the City of Baxter, as well as
those parcels necessary to square up the northerly boundary of the City to County State Aid Highway 77.
