Step-by-Step Instructions for Team Members to Register on the Wayne Cares Team
1. Go to www.karmanoscancer.org/komendetroit and click on the header, 'Race for the Cure.'
2. Click 'Registration' on the left navigation bar a nd then select 'Online.'
3. Click on the pink 'Register Now' button.

Click on the green 'Register Now' button on the next screen (you are now on the Activ e.com registration site).
5. Login with your Active Account user ID and password (you have one if you registered online for the Race in
the past three years).
• Your login is your email address. If you forgot your password click on 'Forgot your Password'; and it will be
emailed to you.
6. If you do not have a MyActive account, click on the green 'New Account' button and create one.
7. Once logged in, select “Team Member Registration”.
8. Select your registration category and age group

If over 18, c lick the box: "By checking this box, I agree that Iam 18 or older"

Agree to the waiver
•
Enter YOUR date of Birth
o If you are going to register your children (under 18) make sure you enter YOUR birthday on the
waiver form.

Click green 'Continue' button
Select Wayne Ca res – Educators For A Cure team fro m the drop down menu under 'Select a Tea m'.
SKIP 'Tea m Password', it is not required

10. Continue registering by filling out the rest of your registration form. Please note, the fields with a red

required.

Your packet for the event will be delivered to the college the week before race day and may be
picked up in the Dean’s Office. If you prefer, you can have your packet mailed via USPS (cost additional
$8 .50).
11. Click green 'Co ntinue' button.
12. Enter your payment information and click green "Pay Now".
13. Upon registering, two emails will be sent to you:

Confirming your registration was successful - keep this for your records.
