Commercial Advisor to the Royal Danish Embassy in Bogota, Colombia
The Royal Embassy of Denmark in Bogota, Colombia is looking for a new college to join the
Embassy’s Commercial Department in a position as Commercial Advisor.
The Advisor’s role will be to promote and develop business opportunities for Danish companies
in Colombia.
The Commercial Department provides advisory services to Danish companies on a consultancy
basis. The Commercial Advisor will have annual targets, and performance will be measured on a
number of parameters related to the quality of the service and number of consultancy hours
generated annually.
The position will include several administrative tasks.
Main job responsibilities:




Add value for Danish companies through close cooperation and strategic advisory
services.
Liaise with potential Colombian business partners and government authorities.
Prepare market analyses and distributor searches.
Organize promotional events.

Assist in the daily administrative tasks of the Embassy
Professional and personal qualifications:
You have a strong interest in developing business opportunities for Danish companies interested
in the Colombian market. Furthermore, you

have a relevant post-graduate degree,

possess experience from a similar position in the private or public sector,

have commercial knowledge of the Colombian market and / or a strong business network
in Denmark.

are dynamic, solution and quality oriented, extrovert and a good team player,

are fluent in oral and written English and Spanish (and preferably also in Danish)
