Watermelon Seed Counting- Preschool
What a cute way to practice number sense and a little fine motor! Use black pompoms, buttons, construction
paper circles, or take it one step further and have your child draw the correct number of seeds on (if you
laminated the watermelon slices of course).
Materials Required:


Watermelon slices
Small black objects- pompoms, buttons, black construction paper circles, actual watermelon seeds (be
careful they don’t get swallowed though!)
Set Up:

Cut out and laminate watermelon slices
