International Engagement Award
Description
The Social Science Students’ Council (SSSC) International Engagement Award is an
annual award granted to ten Western University Undergraduate Students enrolled
in the Social Science Faculty. The award is intended to provide financial aid to
students seeking a global engagement that would benefit their undergraduate
career in Social Science. This award has particular interest in academic
engagements granting students an academic credit. The Social Science Student
Donation Fund proudly funds this award.
Each applicant can be awarded up to $1,000 for an International Engagement
organized through Western. Students can only receive one SSSC International
Engagement Award throughout their undergraduate career. Please note the
eligibility breakdown below:

Undergraduate Student enrolled in the Social Science Faculty
Minimum 70% cumulative average
Priority to Western Academic Engagements and Western Extra Curricular
Activities/ Unpaid Internship (*Note: Must be sponsored and run through
Western University)
Students already granted this award in the past will NOT be eligible
Application Deadline: Monday April 20, 2015 by 12pm
• Submit to the Social Science Dean’s Office, 9th floor Social Science Centre OR

• Both successful and unsuccessful applicants will be contacted in May 2015
