Children can discover, stack, bridge, enclose, make patterns, name and symbolize using
blocks and more.
Bingo’s Birthday (for children as old as 5)
Emerald City’s Little Theatre presents This Barnyard Mash-up created and directed by
Artistic Director Ernie Nolan. “You are invited to the birthday party of a very precious

2 Lead Teacher
Educational Background:
I I studied Special Education
at Northern Illinois University
and also took courses at
Kishwaukee College.
Teaching Experience:
I was a bilingual tutor at
a school when I was in college as well as a
substitute and then full time teacher.
Hobbies:
I love to dance! I’ve been dancing since I was a
little girl. I now co-teach a bolly-wood/fusion
dance class. My family and I are big travelers. I
love to travel whenever I can get a weekend or
time off.
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe all students can learn when they are
accepted for who and where they are in their
educational journey. Effective learning requires
a collaboration between teacher, student and
parents grounded in mutual respect and trust. I
also believe teachers who demonstrate curiosity
and passion about a subject area can motivate
students to learn. After all, these kids are our
future and I want to help educate the future as
much as I can!
