Based on a popular manga series with cumulative circulation of over
130 million copies
CROOZ, Inc. (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Koji Obuchi) today announced the
launch in Japan of NARUTO: SHINOBI COLLECTION SHIPPU RANBU , an all-new
free-to-play mobile title for Android, developed in collaboration with and published by GREE,
Inc. (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Yoshikazu Tanaka).*
NARUTO: SHINOBI COLLECTION SHIPPU RANBU is a “runner” game featuring cute
versions of many popular characters from the NARUTO franchise dashing across a game
world that captures the authentic look and feel of the series. Players must jump to dodge
enemy characters and grab items on their way to the goal at the end of each level. Boss
battles will take place in a separate boss battle mode with enhanced graphics, and players
must make strategic use of attacks and ninja powers to achieve victory. CROOZ asks players
to look forward to NARUTO: SHINOBI COLLECTION SHIPPU RANBU , which combines
unique elements from runner games—which make use of the unique characteristics of
smartphones—and RPG battle games.

NARUTO and NARUTO Shippuden are popular animation programs that have aired on TV
Tokyo since 2002. The original comic, NARUTO, began publication in the Weekly Jump
magazine (publisher: Shueisha) in 1999, and has accumulated 72 volumes of content, with
cumulative circulation of over 130 million copies. The series is also popular overseas, with
comics translated for sale in over 35 countries, and the animated series airing in over 80
countries. NARUTO is one of the most recognizable comics and animated productions to
come out of Japan.

As we develop new games, CROOZ is focusing on original RPG titles, based on our track
record of creating blockbuster games in this genre, such as The Knights of Avalon.
