The City of Killeen has designed a housing assistance program that
UP TO $7,500 assistance for
down payment and closing costs
will enable low to moderate—income individuals or families to
own their own home—the City of Killeen First Time Homebuyer
Assistance Program (HAP).

Legal Resident/Citizen of the U.S.
First Time Homebuyer within the last 3 years
Attend Homebuyer Education classes and housing counseling
Be income eligible
Able to obtain a mortgage loan
Occupy home for 5 years as a primary residence
Purchase home within City limits of Killeen
