The Board of Directors of Curry Senior Center cordially invites you to a festive evening celebrating over 42 years
of providing nourishing meals, housing, case management, socialization programs and personalized primary and
behavioral healthcare with home visits for low-income and homeless seniors in the heart of the City.
This year inaugurates the new, annual Vera Haile Dalenberg Award in memory of Vera Haile — a San Francisco icon of
determined advocacy for the underprivileged and Curry Executive Director from 1983–1996.
In honor of Vera Haile’s passing on July 9, 2014, the gala this year will celebrate and honor those women in our community
who fight for what makes our city famous for benevolence and goodwill towards all those who need a supportive hand.

Curry is an oasis of care for over 2,000 seniors annually in their own neighborhood,
providing: nutritious meals, housing, case management, primary healthcare, mental and
behavioral healthcare, socialization programs and much more.
All proceeds go directly to these programs and ensure Curry will
be able to respond to the number of low-income seniors seeking Curry’s comprehensive
services, which increasingly becomes greater than what our resources can manage.
