For further information please visit www.techcityuk.com/ Profile of SIG Champion Tracey Sheehan, Partner, Taylor Wessing Tracey Sheehan is a partner in Taylor Wessing's IT, Telecoms & Competition practice based in the firm's London office. She advises corporate and public bodies on the supply and procurement of IT and telecoms systems and services and outsourcing. She has particular expertise in respect of European telecommunications regulation including competition and state aid aspects. She has a wealth of experience in respect of structuring national and international (within Europe, Middle East, Far East and Latin America) high value projects within the telecoms sector. She is used to working alongside the client’s internal and external technical teams, local National Regulatory Authorities and even the client’s local external law firms. In addition, Tracey has extensive experience in respect of establishing and advising Utility Telecommunication companies, the role of the communication provider in respect of smart grids and smart metering. Tracey is an active speaker and is asked to speak at conferences within the UK, USA, Africa and the Far East in respect of Telecommunication, Smart Grid’s and Smart Metering and Utility Teleco’s. She has been invited to work with the research group - ICT For Sustainable Growth for Smart Grids within the Information Society and Media Directorate within the EU Commission. For more information please visit: www.taylorwessing.com Profiles of Speakers Korolyn Rouhani-Arani, Senior Associate, Taylor Wessing Korolyn Rouhani-Arani is a senior commercial and regulatory lawyer in Taylor Wessing's IT, Telecoms & Competition practice based in the firm's London office . She has significant international experience with a focus on telecommunications and technology law. She has a wide range of experience, including drafting large scale telecommunications network rollout and network sharing agreements, telecommunications service agreements, technology contracts and outsourcing contracts, as well as advising on telecommunications regulation, data protection and content regulation. She also has significant experience in advising on commercial and regulatory aspects of large-scale corporate transactions in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Prior to joining Taylor Wessing, Korolyn worked at a magic circle firm in London. Prior to coming to London, she worked for over five years in leading TMT practices in Australia. Korolyn is qualified as a solicitor in Australia. She speaks fluent English and Farsi. His publications include EDI and the Law (1989), Information Technology and the Law (1990), EDI Audit and Control (1993), Cross-border Electronic Banking (2nd ed., 2000), Telecommunications Law Handbook (1997), ECommerce Law and Practice in Europe (2001), Computer Crimes and Digital Investigations (2007), Media Law and Practice (2009), Telecommunications Law and Regulation (4th ed., 2012) and Free and Open Source Software (2013).
