CyberSponse Announces Latest Release of Incident Response
CyberSponse Announces Latest Release of Incident Response Platform SCOTTSDALE, Arizona -- CyberSponse, a leader in cybersecurity management and incident response software technology, announces the release and general availability for version 3.0.26 of the CyberSponse Security Operations Platform (CSOP). The CyberSponse Security Operations Platform is an innovative and industry-leading software solution that empowers operations and incident response teams to proactively identify and neutralize cybersecurity threats quickly. When incidents occur, the full-featured interface coordinates the response for teams of any size and complexity. Delivered via secure SaaS or installed on-premises, CSOP seamlessly integrates tools and personnel to reduce the impact of attacks. “CyberSponse understands the challenges of constantly changing cybersecurity threats,” said Chad Bellin, VP of Product Management. “We are proud to innovate on our already successful platform that includes such advanced features as vulnerability threat management and threat intelligence feed integration.” The new release includes an audit log, data package manager, and upgrades to the Workflow engine. Within CSOP, custom workflows drive automated incident response. Combining the power of integration with the necessity of policy adherence and auditability, version 3.0.26 exposes the powerful CyberSponse Workflow Engine via REST API. The workflow engine was previously an internal system, but the API now allows seamless interaction between CSOP and tools such as SIEMs, asset managers, vulnerability scanners, and external ticketing systems. Workflow templates created outside of the system can also be imported into CSOP to allow security and response teams to leverage playbooks created by any source. The audit log enables system administrators to view and account for any change made to the structure or data in the system database. Tracking the precise nature of the change (including user information, timestamp, and the change itself), the audit log accurately records every action for any audit requirement. The data package manager provides an intuitive UI to allow users to quickly and easily migrate data among systems. With the new interface, administrators can effortlessly move sample production data or cleansed data from their production CSOP instance into a test environment. Administrators can also promote customizations from the test or staging environments into the production system.
