For 3rd-8th (going into 9th grade) graders (beginner and advanced)

Come learn the fundamental skills of the great game of field hockey! Beginners will learn basic
stick skills and drills, while more advanced players will work on game tactics.
Staff
Coach Kathy Keefe brings her love of the game to this camp. She has over 25 years experience playing and coaching
field hockey. She has been coaching youth field hockey in Danbury and Ridgefield for the past 10 years. As Director
for the Ridgefield Youth Field Hockey program, she has grown the program from 20 players, to over 100, including 4
travel teams, and an in-house fall clinic.
Coach Kelly Lareau grew up in Danbury, CT where she played field hockey at Immaculate High School and was
named to the 1st team all WCC her senior year. During college, her love for the game brought her back to coach the
J.V Immaculate Field Hockey team for 2 years. Today she is a coach for Danbury PAL field hockey.
The camp will also have local high school and college players working as counselors.

Parental Agreement:
By my signature, I/We agree to hold harmless, Danbury Youth Field Hockey, its coaches and volunteers for any bodily
injury to the above participants as a result of his /her playing in any of the DYFH summer camp. In case of injury or
illness, I hereby authorize representatives of the DYFH to use his /her judgment in obtaining immediate medical care
for the child named above. Every attempt will be made to contact either parent and or emergency contacts in the event
of an injury or emergency, but this will make immediate treatment possible.

Please make sure child has: mouth guard, shin guards and goggles and water (please indicate if you do not have
goggles). If you find a stick, the stick should measure from the top of the hip-bone, to the ground.
