A: You must re-enter the country with your CSUF I-20. Notify us if you plan to travel. If we cannot issue your I-20 prior to you leaving the country, your I-20 can be mailed to an overseas address. Q: Do I need a new visa now that I will transfer to a new school? A: If you have a valid F-1 or J-1 visa stamp, you do not need to go to the US Embassy to obtain a new visa, even though the school indicated on the visa page is a different school.
