DIXY GROUP SIGNS A PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH LEADING CHAIN OF
PHARMACIES
Moscow, Russian Federation, 19 March 2015
DIXY Group has signed, for an indefinite term, a partnership agreement with leading pharmacy
operator 36.6 and A.v.e on the provision of a priority right to be represented on the leased premises.
Pharmacy sections under the brands “Gorzdrav Pharmacies,” “Stary Lekar” and “03 Pharmacies” that form
part of the 36.6 and A.v.е Group are already located in nineteen DIXY stores in the Moscow region. The
newly signed agreement will enable the company to open pharmacies in DIXY “neighborhood” stores and
Victoria supermarkets based on the rights of a priority sublessee. Depending on the format of the store and its
location, pharmacies may also be subsequently opened under the 36.6 brand.
Within the medium term, the plans are to open pharmacy sections in the stores of Moscow and Moscow
region, yet the parties cannot rule out expansion of their cooperation to other regions of DIXY Group
presence.
“Thanks to our cooperation with a major pharmacy operator, our neighbors will be able to purchase not only
foodstuffs but also essential medicines next door. In addition, we will no longer have to choose from a
multitude of pharmacy operators. Having identified our partner, we can be sure of its pricing policy and the
quality of the services it offers,” says Ekaterina Kumanina, Public relations and government affairs
director of DIXY Group.
“Now we can significantly increase the rate at which new ‘neighborhood’ pharmacies are opened. The signing
of the agreement enables us to ‘move closer’ to the numerous customers of one of the leading retail chains in
Russia and thus provide them with additional comfort of the services they are offered,” says Vladimir
Kintsurashvili, general director of PAO 36.6 chain of pharmacies.
It is important to note that against the background of an unstable exchange rate and in order to prevent price
hikes, the chains of pharmacies forming part of the 36.6 and A.v.e Group have frozen the prices of a number
of vitally important medicines.
DIXY chooses its sublessees with attention and care. In order to offer integrated services to its customers,
deployed on the premises of its neighborhood stores are pharmacy sections, ATMs, payment terminals and
daily service points. Gaming and gambling machines are strictly off limits.
