Together we participated in this amazing movement that promotes youth empowerment and social justice. The inspiring messages given from the many presenters and artists, combined with so much positive energy from everyone in the audience made for a memorable and inspiring experience. Prior to attending WE DAY, the WE TEAM collected a sizeable amount of new and gently used hockey equipment for students who live in the community of Quaqtaq, in Northern Quebec. Attached to the newsletter are pictures and some words from Mr. Stewart. St. Anthony School, and their Free the Children WE TEAM also helped in this endeavour. A total of 50 boxes and bags as well as many hockey sticks were shipped up by Air Inuit thanks to the Kativik School Board. Thank you very much for all your support, it is truly appreciated. The project was a huge success! Go Dorval We Team! Please find attached (hard copy only) the information on the Family Fun Run. All funds raised will go to the Pearson Education Fund (PEF).
