Celebrating 20 years of educating registered nurses in Parish
Nursing/Faith Community Nursing
We continue to highlight moments of our faith community nurse course.
Below is a picture from the class of 2007. Can you find me in the group?
Thank you, Debbie Harbinson for the red noses and coming back into our
network. Debbie, a certified Laughter leader, presented Mindful Mirth at
the Retreat on Saturday.
Statistical Reporting
We continue to work on the process of developing a statistics tool. Thank
you for your patience in this process.
Remember that practicing as a registered nurse requires documentation
for if it is not documented you did not do it.
I continue to meet with community partners and they are asking questions
about what faith community nurses do. I can visualize the impact outcomes
for the community but still need the data from you all to tell them specifics.
Annual Survey
We thank all of you that took the time to complete the annual survey
We look forward to providing programs that interest and benefit you in
your ministries in the future.

Faith Community Teleconference Schedule from Texas: 2015
Note from Becky:
"Our hope was to continue with the free offerings, however the participant
numbers have grown so that the cost to the hospital has tripled. We are
unfortunately not able to continue our Teleconference series without some
support from its participants. We are requesting a nonrefundable payment
of $10.00 in order to participate in a Teleconference. we believe this low
cost from each participant will allow us to continue this offering into the
future.
