Meeting April 8, 2015: 7:00pm
Board Members in Attendance: Dawn Kloock, Trish Woods, Marie DeMarco , Brian Potasiewicz , Michael Baker
Board Members Not in Attendance: Barbara Pack, Emily Krile
Three Homeowners in Attendance: John and Barbara Rocha, Dorel Stefan, and ???
1. Delinquent Accounts
a. Received amounts of $959 and $730 from letters sent from lawyer
b. Letter received from Kepke about delinquent account. Approved for Barbara Pack to address
issue with this homeowner. Issues addressed in letter are not requirements or violations of a
homeowners association. If payment plan arranged and met then interest/penalty can be
waived
c. Approve to have Barbara Pack file paperwork to sue homeowners that are over $1000 in arrears
with priority to Ivins. Is it required that lawyer attend proceedings or can we represent
ourselves?
2. Land Maintenance
a. Vandalism at common ground reported to police and currently taken care of.
b. Mike Baker will walk creek area around pool and Substation area after weather breaks to
determine need for trenching and how many homes affected.
c. Emily Krile needs to determine all signs that are needed; including but not limited to pool area
and court area. Brian Potasiewicz has contact to produce these signs. Once list compiled Emily
needs to contact Brian and he will get a quote for the board.
d. Language and garbage issues with basketball courts to be addressed. Voted and approved for
the courts to be locked for one to two weeks …as need determined. Felt that this will deter
outside groups from coming in once word gets out that the courts are locked. Homeowner Dorel
Stefan will lock and chain gates and will notify Trish Woods when completed. Trish will hang a
sign on each gate explaining courts locked until further notice.
e. Field maintenance issues from previous meeting has not been addressed yet. Simply because
the weather has not warranted it.
3. Pool
a. Letter received from Morgan Zaranec requesting permission to offer swim lessons. Approved
based on proof of certification. Trish Woods will notify Morgan.
b. Trish Woods will contact previous approved lifeguards to receive confirmation of plans to return
for the summer to lifeguard at Eagle Oakes.
c. Pool tags need to be mailed on May 22. Plans to meet at Trish’s home : 915 Pepperwood:
Thursday May 7 around 5:00pm to prepare the pool tags and envelopes. Food will be provided
(either pizza or subs) . If cannot show up that early , please show up when can.
4. Next Meeting: July 8, 2015 at 7:00pm at the pool: request head lifeguard and Morgan Zaranec attend
to give updates.
