This course includes instruction on the SNS formulary, warehouse operations, distribution methods, and point of dispensing operations. There are no prerequisites for this course. Hurricane Scenario The Virtual Tabletop Exercises (VTTX) will be offered monthly by the Emergency Management Institute (EMI). The VTTX involves key personnel discussing simulated scenarios in an informal setting, and can be used to assess plans, policies, training and procedures. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response and the Department of Health and Human Services charged an Institute of Medicine (IOM) committee with the task of developing guidance to establish standards of care that could apply to disaster situations, both naturally occurring and man-made.
