RINCON RANGERS - STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
RINCON RANGERS - STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Week April 13, 2015
AZ Merit Tests
We will be administering the AZ Merit Tests on April 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, and 20th to
students enrolled in English 9, English 10, English 11, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry.
School will begin at 8:00 a.m. every day this week. We will follow periods 1-6 on Monday and
periods 6-1 on Tuesday. We will follow periods 1-6 on Thursday and periods 6-1 on Friday.
Students will be tested in Writing on Monday, Reading on Tuesday, Algebra I on Thursday,
and Algebra II on Friday. Geometry students will be tested on Monday, April 20th. The
Testing Schedule is attached to this email. The purple highlighted periods are the testing
periods, but students can work on their tests all day and will be moved to the library if they
need more time to do their best.
We will have one lunch for both schools on testing days so students might want to bring
a snack in case the lines are long. Students who are absent on testing days will need to make
up their test next week.
Students are encouraged to get a good night’s sleep and eat a nutritious breakfast
every morning prior to testing. We encourage students to do their best on the AZ Merit Tests!
Credit Recovery Deadlines!
If students need to enroll in Agave online classes for Credit Recovery, they need to take
