Sharing NU Experience
June 10, 2015
Session: Developing a Culture of Enhancement
Target audience: faculty and administrative staff of HEIs and QA agencies.
The session will provide a platform for sharing NU’s experience in establishing institutional quality
assurance and enhancement practices, as well as an opportunity to discuss, explore challenges and
share good QA practice by Kazakhstani higher education institutions.
Discussion Topics:




Program approval and annual monitoring;
Student engagement;
External and peer review;
Implementation of quality enhancement policies.

1) Dr. Duncan Priestley, Head of Academic Quality Enhancement, Office of the Provost, Nazarbayev
University, Chair of the Session;
2) Ms. Aizhan Mussina, Senior Manager, Office of the Provost, Nazarbayev University;

4) Ms. Kuralay Bozymbekova , Teaching Assistant, Graduate School of Education, Nazarbayev

Faculty and QA officers of Kazakhstani higher education institutions and QA agencies are welcome to
take part in sharing their projects and experiences through the delivery of presentations. Please submit
your presentations by May 15, 2015.
