What to Expect
Background
Effective Monday, May 23, Regions Express Trade LC will be upgraded with a new look and new functionality. Please note that the
way you access Regions Express Trade will not change as a result of the upgrade.
Temporary Service Interruption—Enter Transactions by May 19
Express Trade LC will unavailable from 10:30 AM CT/11:30 AM ET on Friday, May 20 until Sunday evening, May 22 while the upgrade is
performed.

Action Recommended -- Enter transactions by Thursday, May 19: We strongly recommend that all transactions be entered into
Express Trade LC by close of business, Thursday, May 19. Doing so will allow time for transaction processing prior to the temporary
service interruption.
What’s New
On Monday, May 23, the following application enhancements will be available:

Enhanced user experience: The upgrade will provide a new user interface, as well as a more intuitive user experience
through easier navigation. You will now be able to enter all required information on one screen instead of having to
navigate and enter information on multiple screens.

Real-time processing: Application processing will be expedited.

Improved report generation and search options: In addition to .pdf, you now will be able to generate reports in .csv
format to enable better searching and filtering capabilities. Search functionality will also be enhanced to allow for
searches on any portion of the client reference number.

Top to bottom navigation with scroll bar
All sections viewable on one, individual screen
Same navigational tabs used today are available to easily navigate to the respective sections
Auto-assigned reference numbers
Applicable for: Import LC, Standby LC and Direct Collection


Users will no longer receive the message that the reference number range is low, requiring the user to contact Regions for a
new range of numbers.
The process will be automated and will be based on ranges of reference numbers by service.

Wildcard search functionality
Applicable for all Regions Express Trade LC Modules

Search functionality will be enhanced to enable searches on any portion of the client reference number; for example:
Reference number ABC123REGIONS can be found by searching for “abc” “123” “REG” “3re”, etc.
Report generation in .csv format
Applicable for all Regions Express Trade LC Modules

In addition to the .pdf format, an option will be available to generate reports in .csv format, allowing for better searching and
filtering capabilities.
New Activity page module
Applicable for all Regions Express Trade LC Modules

A new module will display transactions recently processed by Regions. The display can be filtered by product, transaction type
or user.
Auto-save at time out
Applicable for: Import LC, Standby LC and Direct Collection

The application will save current data prior to session expiry after the time-out limit has been reached.
Trade calendar
Applicable for: Import LC, Standby LC and Import Collection

A calendar function will be available to display upcoming maturities and transaction events.
Real-time processing
Applicable for all Regions Express Trade LC Modules

Regions Express Trade LC will receive a new interface, resulting in a real-time transfer process of transactions between
Express Trade users and Regions.
