CAMP PHILOSOPHY EVERGREEN COUGARS 2015 GIRL’S SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP June 1-4 Incoming 3rd-8th Grade 1:00-3:00 pm Our goal is to provide instruction that will make a difference in your child’s athletic development. Each camper will participate in varied levels of instruction affording the camper the opportunity to realize her potential as a complete player. Fundamentals and team play will be stressed. The coaches and staff will encourage campers to leave with a positive attitude toward being the best player they can be. The end result for them is to learn the skills necessary to improve while enjoying the great game of basketball. After playing four years at Rocky Mountain High School in Ft Collins, Coach Bahl went on to play at Fort Lewis College where she holds the college record for points scored and total rebounds. She was a four time All-RMAC First Team player, Freshmen Player of the Year, four year Team MVP, and she was selected to the RMAC All-Century Team. Coach Bahl went on to play overseas and also coach the Umea, Comets, a Swedish Women’s Basketball Team. TRICIA OAKES: As a 2008 EHS Graduate, Tricia was voted Jefferson County Female Athlete of the Year and also nominated All-State in both basketball and softball. She attended Colgate University where she was voted Patriot League All-Rookie Team and 2nd Team All Conference. She received a scholarship to Durham University to play semi-pro basketball. This past season, Tricia played professional basketball in Sweden where she was a Top 10 scorer! HAILEY NEWHALL: Hailey is a 2012 EHS Graduate. Hailey was nominated to the All State basketball team and also the Evergreen Hall of Fame.
