Sehr geehrte Eltern,
ich möchte Sie bitten, folgende Informationen über die Organisation der letzten Schulwochen
im Juni/Juli 2015 sowie der ersten Schulwoche im September 2015 zu beachten:
ORGANISATION DER LETZTEN SCHULWOCHEN 22. Juni – 07. Juli (Dienstag !)
Wir sind bemüht, die Zeit bis zum Ende des Schuljahres bestmöglich zu nützen und einen
weitgehend störungsfreien Unterricht zu gewährleisten. In den letzten Wochen vor dem
offiziellen Ferienbeginn sind sehr viele Lehrer mit mündlichen Abiturprüfungen und
Klassenkonferenzen beschäftigt. Um die Teilnahme der Lehrer/innen an diesen Prüfungen und
Konferenzen sicherzustellen, werden die letzten Wochen wie folgt geplant:
s1-s4:
22.-24.06.: Unterricht gemäß Stundenplan
25.+26.06.: Ab 12:40 unterrichtsfrei
29.6:
Projekttag im Klassenverband (Projekte, Exkursionen). Nähere Informationen
folgen.
30.06.:
Ab 8:30 (für alle) – ca. 15:15. Sportfest mit Basketball, Fußball, Frisbee, Spiele
etc. Nähere Informationen folgen.
Sollte das Sportfest wegen Schlechtwetters nicht stattfinden können, wird von
9:00 – 12:40 Unterricht laut Stundenplan gehalten.

s6-Schüler sind als Zuschauer oder Mitwirkende (nach vorheriger Absprache mit
Bernd Auerhammer/Kim Weber) bei dem Sportfest der s1-s4 herzlich eingeladen.
Es besteht keine Anwesenheitspflicht.
Unterrichtsfrei
Die Mensa ist bis 30.06. wie gewohnt geöffnet und ab 01.07. für die Höhere Schule
geschlossen.

Unterrichtsfrei aufgrund eines pädagogischen Tages für die Lehrer
8:20- ca. 9:00. Letzter Schultag mit Zeugnisausgabe.
*Aufgrund des vom Verwaltungsrat der Schule festgelegten Ferienkalenders 2014/15 endet
dieses Schuljahr ausnahmsweise am Dienstag, 07.07.2015.
Schließfächer/Klassenräume
Bitte beachten Sie, dass spätestens am Fr., 26.06.2015 alle Schließfächer ausgeräumt werden
müssen. Ein Plan wird aufgestellt, wonach Schüler der s1-s4 im Klassenverband ihre Fächer
ausleeren. Auch aus den Klassenräumen müssen alle Sachen mitgenommen werden.
Die Vergabe der Schließfächer erfolgt zu Beginn des neuen Schuljahres. Die Miete beträgt
20,00 € pro Schuljahr. Für ein Schloss hat jeder Schüler selbst zu sorgen. Doppelbelegungen
pro Schließfach sind möglich.
Klassenkonferenzen
Im Falle einer Nichtversetzung in die nächsthöhere Klasse oder Abgangs von der Schule (weil
ein und dieselbe Klasse bereits wiederholt wurde) werden die Eltern/gesetzlichen Vertreter
unmittelbar nach der Klassenkonferenz vom Klassenlehrer per Telefon verständigt.
Entsprechend der Schulordnung der Europäischen Schulen wird außerdem ein
eingeschriebener Brief verschickt, in dem über den Beschluss der Klassenkonferenz informiert
wird.

Bücherlisten (HS)
Ab 19. Juni sind die Bücherlisten für das Schuljahr 2015/16 auf der ESM-Website abrufbar:

Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Bücherlisten für Sprache II, III, IV sowie Sciences Humaines
(SCH), Geographie, Altgriechisch und Musik unter der Rubrik: „Eine Arbeitssprache“ (bitte
runter scrollen) zu finden sind!
Für kommende s4-Schüler ist eine Sammelbestellung der Taschenrechner geplant. Nähere
Informationen gehen direkt an die jetzigen s3-Schüler bzw. an deren Eltern.
Einsichtnahme in schriftliche Prüfungsarbeiten (Semestertests)
Für s5 und s6 kann am Donnerstag 02.07.2015 von 9.00 bis 12.00 Uhr nach vorheriger
Anmeldung bis 27.06.2015 in die schriftlichen Prüfungsarbeiten Einsicht genommen werden.
Abmeldungen
Wenn Sie beabsichtigen, Ihr Kind/Ihre Kinder von der Schule abzumelden, ersuchen wir Sie,
dies bis spätestens 24.06.2015 in schriftlicher Form zu tun.

Wir bitten Sie im Falle einer Änderung Ihrer Kontaktdaten (Adresse, Email, Telefon-Nummer
etc.) dies unverzüglich der Schule bekannt zu geben: [email protected]
Gebühren
Schulgeld für Kategorie III-Schüler („Privatschüler“)
Der Oberste Rat der Europäischen Schulen hat das jährliche Schulgeld für das Schuljahr
2015/16 festgelegt. Angaben dazu sind auf der ESM-Webseite abrufbar
http://esmunich.de/home/unsere-schule/eltern/schulgeld.html. Im Juni 2015 erhalten die
Eltern eine Rechnung betreffend der Anzahlung von 25% des Schulgeldes 2015/16 mit
Informationen über Ratenzahlungen und Schulgeld-Ermäßigungen.
Sonstige Gebühren für alle Schüler
Für Fotokopien, Versicherungen und Korrespondenzheft erhalten Sie im Herbst eine Rechnung,
die bis zum 31.10.2015 zahlbar ist. Die Höhe der Abiturprüfungsgebühr für das Abitur beträgt
86,95 €. Für Kunst werden je nach Klasse ebenfalls Gebühren anfallen.

Dear Parents,
I would be grateful if you could please take note of the following information concerning the
organization of the end of this school year 2015/2016 and the beginning of the next school
year.
ORGANISATION OF THE LAST WEEKS OF SCHOOL 22th June –7th July (Tuesday!)
We are trying to organize the time up to the end of the school year in the best possible way in
order to ensure that, as far as possible, normal teaching can take place. In the last weeks of
school, however, a large number of teachers are involved in the Baccalaureate oral exams and
Class Councils. In order to allow teachers to attend these important exams and councils, the
following has been planned:
s1-s4
22. – 24.06. normal lessons
25.+26.06. school ends at 12.40
29.06.
Class project day (projects, excursions). More information follows.
30.06.
Sporting event with basketball, football, frisbee and other games. More
information follows. Start 8.30 (for all students) – 15.15.
In the case of rainy weather, the event will be cancelled and lessons will take
place from 9.00-12.40 according to the timetable.
01.-03.07.
no lessons

Careers guidance. School ends at 12.40

s1-s4 sporting event. Students of s6 are very welcome as spectators or as

Attendance is not compulsory.

The canteen will be open until the 30th June. From 1st July it will be closed for the Secondary.

No lessons will take place due to a pedagogical day for the teachers
8.20- 9.00 am. Last day of school. Reports will be given to the students.
* Due to the school holiday calendar 2014/15 decided by the admin board, the school year
2014/15 ends on Tuesday, 07.07.2015.
Lockers / class rooms
Please note that all students’ lockers must be emptied and all personal belongings removed
from the classrooms by Friday, 26.06. s1-s4 classes will be accompanied by their class teacher
to empty their lockers. Secondary School pupils can have the use of a locker for €20 per school
year. The allocation of lockers takes place at the beginning of each school year. All pupils have
to purchase their own padlocks. Sharing of lockers may be necessary.
Class councils
If it is decided that a pupil has to repeat the year or is not allowed to repeat the same year
twice, the parents/legal guardians will be informed by telephone by the class teacher. In
accordance with the rules of the European Schools a registered letter is sent to the
parents/legal guardians the day after the Class Council.

The book lists for year 2015/16 will be available on the school website as from 19th June.

Please note, that the book lists for Language 2, 3, 4, human sciences (sh), Geography, ancient
Greek and music can be found in the category “working language” (please scroll down).
A bulk order will be organized for the purchase of calculators for the coming year 4 students.
Current year 3 students / parents will be informed.
Viewing of exam papers (Semestertests)
For s5 and s6 classes an appointment may be made before 27.06. to look at the exams on
02.07. between 9.00 and 12.00.
Deregistration
Parents who intend to withdraw their children from the school are kindly requested to do so in
writing before 24.06.2015.

Fees
Tuition fees for category III – pupils (“private pupils”)
The Board of Governors of the European Schools has fixed the annual school fees for the school
year 2015/16. Details can be found on the ESM-website (http://esmunich.de/en/home/ourschool/parents/school-fees.html). In June 2015 parents will receive an invoice for the advance
of 25% of the school fees 2015/16 with information about payment in instalments and
reduction of school fees.
Additional costs for all pupils
You will receive an invoice in the autumn, which must be paid no later than 31.10.2015
covering costs for photocopies, insurance and liaison book. The fee for the Secondary School
graduation exam is 86.95 €. There will also be additional costs for art classes and these will
vary depending on the year group of your child.
